What is Your “iT”?

Whether past, present or future we all have an “iT.”

There are three kinds of “iT’s.” The ones we need to get over, the ones we deal with on a daily basis, and the “iT’s” we see in our future.

A past “ iT” is something we need to get over, some challenge in life that seems difficult, if not impossible to overcome. This may be a problem in our health, a trauma from our past, or a stressful situation in our finances or career. Sometimes this “iT” stems from broken relationships or negative judgments we’ve encountered during our journey.

A daily “iT’” are the lessons and blessings along the way.  Living in the present and paying attention to what is happening right now keeps us from missing the stepping stones towards our future and the stumbling blocks that hold us back.

A future “iT” It is a detailed visualization of how we want our lives to be in the future. It is a powerful, compelling statement that expresses our personal sense of meaning and purpose. By understanding what you want, it is easier to stay motivated and inspired.

Do you have the kind of life you want—where you wake up and look forward to your day with a sense of excitement and anticipation, and at the end of the day feel fulfilled and satisfied with what you have accomplished, or does it feel like drudgery and frustration?  If so, then it might be time to look at the past, present and future “iT’s” in your life.

When you do realize they are only just”iTs” not big scary monsters.
